Architect and urban planner based in Berlin.
Gökçe Demiral studied architecture at MEF University in Istanbul and completed the MSc Transforming City Regions at RWTH Aachen University with a DAAD scholarship. She has worked in Turkey, Italy and Germany at many scales, from exhibitions and a built timber footbridge to office buildings, city streets and regional research.
Her work starts from how people perceive and live the spaces around them: rhythm, time and the senses. She combines research and design, works with participatory methods, and moves between architecture, urbanism and curatorial practice.
Available for freelance work.
